Attorney Kerri Quintal commented in the Boston Herald’s entertainment section about the September 21, 2016 announcement that Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt.

The article, titled Angelina Jolie’s Kids Play Could Get Ugly, speculates that the Brad Pitt-Angelina Jolie divorce could get “real ugly real fast if the ‘Maleficent’ actress insists on having sole physical custody of their six kids.”

The Relationship Might Not Be So Private Anymore

In the article, attorney Kerri Quintal, who has been practicing family law since 1997, said the court will take into account “the best interests of the children” when awarding custody. If Angelina Jolie is determined to prove to the court that it’s in the kids’ best interest to live with her while Pitt is allowed just visitation, then “they may find that their marriage is not so private anymore,” Quintal said.

Angelina Jolie filed for divorce on September 20m 2016 , citing “irreconcilable differences.” Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been together since 2004 and then were married in 2014. They have six kids – three are adopted.
